Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November of 1985 located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father, was an ordained pastor of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix was a natural at sports early in her life, and discovered her ability to sprint when she was at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she was second in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003, Felix was a senior in high school and signed a professional deal with the athletics company Adidas after which she enrolled in the University of Southern California where she completed her elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. Felix set the Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. The year 2005 was the time she became the world's youngest champion in 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007 over her former Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in her first Olympics and in the Olympics of Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo consistently placing within the top three of her competitions.
