Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed a knack for athletics early on discovering her athletic abilities during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her initial tryout, she placed third in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded her very first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking the world junior record sprinting 200 meters at 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently in the top three of athletes at her particular events.
