Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actor. Her most well-known work is her performance in the film The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and for roles in television show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. She is currently starring as Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer is an American actress who works in TV as well as movies. The roles she played in the drama series Rectify and the sci-fi show Timeless have made her an international star. Her acting debut was in All My Children, a soap opera set in Gulf Breeze Florida. In recognition of her performance, she won the Soap Opera Digest Award as the most outstanding female newcomer. The following years she mostly played guest parts on various television shows. The show she appeared on received praise for her character she played in the show in the role of The Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. Slowly with the help of her amazing looks and stunning acting skills she managed to gain a massive following. Her debut film came at about twenty when she played the role of a girl in Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film in which she starred. Her nomination was for the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her performance in the film Beautiful Now'. In the TV show Timeless in which she portrayed her role as Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer has received positive reviews from critics about her performance in the sci-fi show Timeless. She received nominations for a Teen Choice Award.
