Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born July 7, 1968 was an American actress. She is best known for her performances on CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Early life
Carlson was brought up in Glen Ellyn by Robert Eugene Carlson, her father being an educator. Carlson was born in Elmhurst ([DuPage County Illinois], close to Chicago). She is of Swedish descent, with roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: Early career as well as college
She began her journey to Hollywood as a supporting actor in the film Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. She followed in the footsteps of her older sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.
